Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W

Just as small. Five times as fast.

ideal choice for smart home applications and other IoT projects

Board specifications

At the heart of Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is RP3A0, a custom-built system-in-package designed by Raspberry Pi in the UK. With a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1GHz and 512MB of SDRAM, Zero 2 is up to five times as fast as the original Raspberry Pi Zero. As for heat dissipation concern, Zero 2 W uses thick internal copper layers to conduct heat away from the processor, sustaining higher performance without higher temperature.

Key features include:

  • Broadcom BCM2710A1, 1GHz quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 CPU
  • 512MB LPDDR2 SDRAM
  • 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN
  • Bluetooth 4.2, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), onboard antenna
  • Mini HDMI port and micro USB On-The-Go (OTG) port
  • microSD card slot
  • CSI-2 camera connector

package A - basic kit

The most basic kit, comes with two additional adapters, allows the Zero to connect more different devices via standard HDMI port or USB-A port.

package B - starter kit

The starter kit for newbies, comes with 16GB micro SD card for storaging and running the OS, also includes the adapters in Package A for connecting more different devices, together with a classic Raspberry Pi official red/white case, nice-looking and practical.

package C - vision kit

This is a vision kit, includes the official Raspberry Pi Zero-specific 5MP mini camera, make it easy to play around with the picture captureing or video recording functions by using Raspberry Pi.

Raspberry Pi Zero Camera overview:

  • 5MP sensor, 2592 × 1944 still picture resolution
  • 1/4inch CMOS, F2.8 aperture, 3.21mm focal length, 69.8° FoV
  • Support 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video record
package D - USB HUB kit

This is a USB HUB kit for Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, extending 4x USB ports, the pogo pin design allows the HUB HAT to be direct connected with Zero, and the combination can be stuffed into the dedicated red/white case to build a mini computer, keeping the dust away from your lovely Zero.

USB-HUB-BOX overview:

  • Pogo pin design for the HAT, compatible with Zero / Zero 2 W
  • 4x extended USB ports, USB 2.0 / 1.1 compliant
  • Quality ABS material, dull polish surface, anti-fingerprint; Angle rounded design, smooth hand feeling, "simple snap" case lid
  • Comes with two different lids, changing as you like
  • for more info, click: USB-HUB-BOX
package E - ETH/USB kit

This is also a USB HUB kit with RJ45 Ethernet connection enabled, extending 3x USB ports. If your project happens to be Ethernet required and needs more USB ports, this kit just fits.

ETH-USB-HUB-BOX overview:

  • Pogo pin design for the HAT, compatible with Zero / Zero 2 W
