The 2-CH-CAN-TO-ETH is a CAN bus to Ethernet port server to realize data communication between CAN device and network server. Built in 2-ch CAN ports, 1-ch Ethernet port and TCP/IP protocol stack, allowing interconnection and communication between CAN-bus and Ethernet for expanding CAN-bus network range. Multiple working modes

TCP Server Mode

The CAN to Ethernet Server will be listening configured ports and waiting for TCP Client connections, data from the CAN device will be transferred via CAN Server to every connected client


TCP Client Mode

The CAN to Ethernet Server will try establishing TCP connection with configured IP to achieve bidirectional transparent transfer between the server and CAN device, and keep retrying if failed


UDP Mode

The CAN to Ethernet Server will send data from the CAN device to specific IP network device through UDP packets, and will be simultaneously listening the port and send all the received data back to the CAN device


CAN Data Transparent Transmission Protocol

The frame structure transmission in working mode of each Socket includes frame information, frame ID, and frame data, compliant with CAN 2.0B specification, supports operation by any system

CAN Repeater Function

To solve the problems of CAN network transmission rate and distance, and expand the number of communication network


CAN ID filtering

Receives the data from CAN IDs within the configured range only, filtering out CAN frames outside the range


Heartbeat Packet Function

CAN heartbeat packet: sends fixed query commands to the CAN network through heartbeat packet;
Network heartbeat packet: notifies network terminal that the Server is active to maintain normal network connectivity with the Server


Registration Packet Function

Allows Server to identify the device data source, or as a password for obtaining server function authorization
